INDUSTRIAL DISPUTES.
ROPE AND TWINE WORKERS.
The rope and twine workers' dispute was considered by a conciliation council yesterday, the commissioner, Mr. P. Hally, presiding. The. employers were represented by Messrs. G. Grine, W. Tate, and J. Sutherland, And the assessors for the employers were Messrs. W. M. Passmore, W. Edmunds,'" and S. E. Wright. All the matters in dispute were settled, with the exception of the wages in one grade.
