CONTESTS IN WAIKATO. [BT TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] •",'"■'* HAMILTON. Monday.; Two machine-gun matches were fired at Cambridge on Saturday, between < units from all parts of the Waikato. In the Vickers Machine-gun competition, six teams entered. The team from Ist (Waikato) Auckland Regiment, under , LanceCorpl B. : Beale, defeated the runners-up. Sergt. H. J. Edmond's team, from the same* regiment, by eight ; points In the Hotchkiss gun competition, Sergt. T. C Wallace's 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles team, Cambridge, defeated Corpl. H. G. Church's team, from .the same .regiment, of Te Awamutu, by six points. Captain M.E. Johnson was in charge. ,\
