DENTAL EDUCATION.
COMMISSION IN AUCKLAND. QUESTION OF LOCAL TRAINING. The first sitting of the commission appointed to inquire into the subject of dental education in the Dominion will be held to-day in the Auckland Education Board offices. The duty of the commission will be to obtain particulars of local conditions and other data relevant to the training of students for the dental profession. The question of students being enabled to take their first two years of training! locally,' instead of having to attend the whole course at the Otago Dental School, will be one of the matters brought up.
