CHAIRMAN'S RESIGNATION.
[BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WHAKATANE. Saturday.
At a meeting of the Whakatane Harbour Board yesterday Mr. W. Sumner resigned his position as chairman, ana Mr. G. Colebrooi resigned his membership. Consideration of applications for the position of engineer was deferred until December 13.
