The annual street day of the Salvation Army will be held ) to-day. ; The lassies will be' busy with their collection-boxes from early," in the morning, and the; army appeals to i citizens to make a generous response to the call for funds. Money is required to prosecute vigorously the. work of the army in its many spheres'of activity, among the aged and'needy, the orphans, and others in Want of a helping hand, and in mission fields in every" part of the world.
