BLENHEIM PRODUCE MARKETS. {BY TELEGRAPH.--OWN CORRESPOND IiNT ] BLENHEIM. Wednesday.' .Local.markets are still very quiet. Besides -' having been hit by the continuous importations of Australian supplies at Auckland, where another 500 tons were landed from Victoria recently, the Marlborough chuff trade has been materially affected by the opening of the Otira tunnel. Quotations remain at about £5 10s to farmers. Local stocks are now getting low. and it is anticipated that all of last year's supplies will have been used by the time that next season's supplies come to hand. A fair area has been sown in oats in Marlborough this year, but owing to the wetness of the season the sowing generally wai not done until a late, stage, and ft. i 3 difficult to say what tho vields are likely to be. ' Cowgras'a seed is auiet. The shelling has been completed, and the vield has been srood. A fair amount is still in the hands of the growers, and the values at present are from 7ld to Sid per lb. The expected daniar.d for lucerne seed has not vet materialised. A few odd line* have changed hands at about Is per lb. With the apn-oach of ♦he sowing season, it may be anticipated 'hat all the seed available will be readily disposed of. .'•.•■'.■■
