For dis- ! regarding the signals of constables on ! traffic duty a motorist, H. H. Pollard, and a lorry river, P. Wood, were each fined 20s and 9s costs. A fine of 10s and 9s costs was imposed upon a motorist, P. 0. Boyle, for disobeying the signals of a constable on point duty. Upon a second charge of having no tail-light, he was also fined 10s, with 9s costs. E. Roberts, for cutting a corner, was fined 20s and 13s costs. A young man, L. H. Gedye, who ad- ! mitted boarding a moving train at EllersS lie, was fined 10s, with costs 21s 6d.
