i A charge of having driven a motor-car i on to the Queen's Wharf at. an excessive 1 speed was brought against S. Robinson, !of 51, Albert Street, by the Auckland I Harbour Board (Mr. McNab), before Mr. i J. W. Poynton, S.M., in tho Police Court j yesterday. Defendant did not appear. J • The traffic manager for the Harbour i Board, Mr. W. R Golden, stated that ' the danger of fast driving on the wharves i was not generally' realised. , The magis--1 trate agreed with the witness, and imposed a fine of 20s, with £I,Bs costs.
