THIEVES SEIZE £24,000. A. and N.Z. , ; .MADKID, Sent. 2. Four strangers, armed with revolvers, entered the Gijon branch of the Bank of Spain, fired at and wounded the manager, and carried off 600,000 pesetas (nearly £24,000) in cash in a motor-car.
