CONSUL'S RECORD SWIM.
ACROSS THE DARDANELLES. A. »nd N.Z, LONDON, Aug. 31. The Constantinople correspondent of the Daily Express says that the British Con-sul-Gencral, aged over 60 years, swam across the Dardanelles, from Albash to a point north of Nagara, a distance of J.£ miles, breaking the army record by 20m.
