FATAL END OF GAME. FALL ON CONCRETE FLOCK. I . [by TELEGRAPH.PRESS "> AS?OCIATt. >N. J GTSFORNE. Wfdnesday. At Te Araroa, Fred. James Plier, aged 55, died as the result of an accident on Sunday. Evidence given at the inquest ; showed that he was playing with a Maori girl employed at an hotel, when she pushed him, ; and he fell on a concrete floor, fracturing his skull. A verdict wag returned: of accidental death, no blame being > attachable to the girl. Deceased, leaves a wife and grownup family at their home in the Waikato. He was spending a few >days at Te Araroa, . being a council employee at Cape Runaway.. .
