Last week there was a cloudburst, when 57 points of rain fell in 15 minutes, flooding., all the streets. Fortunately there was no serious damage. * The Kaipara Dairy Co. held a public meeting of suppliers in the Warkworth Town Hall on Monday. Mr. Rirnmur, chairman of directors, presented and explained the balance-sheet. Mr. A. W. Wyllie was nominated for the vacancy on the directorate. Mr. Sterling addressed the meeting on the matter of quality m cream, illustrating his remarks by-means of charts..;.'' ~ The Warkworth Road Board at its last meeting let a number of contracts for metalling roads in its district, there being keen competition among the tenderers.
