The following information hag been cabled to the London office of the Waihi Goldmining Company:—No. 3 level, Edward lode-: Driving south the next _2Sit assays 22s 6d per ton. • The reef is about sft. wide. No. 10 level—Edward lode: Driving south tho next 7ft. assays 33s 6d per ton. The lode is about sft. wide. At 1573 ft. » cross lode 14ft. wide has been intersected.. The assay value is 15s per ton- The course of the lode is 86 decrees and vertical. No. 13 level Martha lode crosscut, at 400 ft. east: In the crosscut to the south the last 7ft. assays 13s 6d per ton. In the crosscut to the north the first 20ft. assays 22s 6d p*r ton. and the last 25ft. 10s per ton . No. 34 level: 'On the course of the reef situated at 102 ft., we have driven 50ft. to the northeast. The assay value is 2* per ton, The. reef is about 3ft. vide.
