POISONING SUSPECTED.

DEATH ,OF MRS. HYNDMAN. USE OF DRUGS ALLEGED. A. and N.Z. LONDON, April 12. The death of Mrs. H. M. Hyndman, wife of the noted Socialist leader, who died the other day, was the subject of an inquest, which was opened to-day. The evidence showed that she had completed a book on her husband's life three days prior to her death. A doctor who was summoned when Mrs. Hyndman was found unconscious stated that he treated her for narcotic poisoning. He knew she took drugs, and that at the time of her husband's death she took a large dose. The inquest was adjourned to enable an analysis of the contents of her stomach to be made.
