LIQUOR IN AMERICA.
LIGHT WINES AND BEER. WISCONSIN PROPOSAL LOST. A. and N.Z. NEW YORK. April 12. The Slate Senate of Wisconsin defeated a resolution passed by the House that Congress be memorialised to amend the Volstead Act to legalise the sale of light wines and beer.
