EXTENSION OF EMBANKMENT.
LONDON. March 11. - The Improvements Committee of the London County. Council recommends the expenditure of £160,000 for the continuation of the Thames Embankment; from Westminster Bridge to Chelsea. • It recommends also the widening of Horseferry. Road to 60ft., with an edging of trees, and the rebuilding of Lambeth Bridge. . ■' ' " 1
