SERVICES IN SYDNEY.
WELCOME FALL ON TUESDAY Australian snJ N.Z. Cable Association. I (Rptd. 10.20 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 21. Intercessory sen-ices for rain were held j to-day in various churches, and were I largely attended. They were combined I with thanksgiving for the fall yesterday i evening. This, though it has relieved the j situation, is somewhat far from requirej ments. Relieving showers are reported in some i other districts, but the weather has again • cleared, and prospects of a break of the I drought arc less hopeful.
