ELECTRIC LIGHT TOURNEY.
DRAW FOE THIS EVENING.
The following is the draw for the electric light tournament to be played on the P.onsonby bowling green this evening; Section A. Dick (Grey Lynn) v. J. Jury (Ponsonby), Denaison (Dominion Road) v. Packman (Carlton). , Section B.—Bridges (Grey Lynn) v. Murdock (Takapuna), Julian (Mount Eden) v. Rose (Grey Lynn). \ The section winners in the tournament played on Monday, Bremner and McJmus, will play off to-morrow.
FIRST-YEAR TOURNAMENT. An interesting bowling tournament to<k place on the Ponsonby green list even ng under ele> trie light. The players were List year members, and represented many Auckland clubs. The following were the results, three games being played:— A Section.—Preston (Grey Lynn), three w'ns: Youner (Ponsonby), one win; Tucker (Dominion Road), . one win; Cottingnam (A.E.T. Co.). one win. . B Section—Dawson (Ponsonby), three wins: Phillips (Carlton), two'wins; Neilson one win. The final is to be played at a Jater aate.
