ROWING.
THE AUCKLAND CLUB.
The Auckland Rowing Club will be represented in the Mcllwraith competition under the auspices of the North Shore Rowing I'lnb. to be rowed next Saturday. The crew will be W. Stevenson, R. Strugnell, J. Stevenson, C. Ingham. Further efforts are being made by the officials to provide further S-oar rowing, and the club is endeavouring to arrange for the Macon Cup to be competed for in place of 4-oar as in previous years.The club also will hold a series of 8-oar racing confined to its members for trophies presented by its commodore.
