OLD FOLKS ENTERTAINED.
An enjoyable afternoon's entertainment was provided the aged inmates of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ponsonby, on Saturday, largely through the instrumentality of Messrs. Pitchford and Duffin, who organised a band of performers whose efforts gladdened the hearts of the old folk. Excellent music was provided by Mrs. Collins and Mr./Wooley, and songs or dances by Misses Hogan, Smith, Whitley (2), Messrs. McGrail, Duffin (2) t Owens, and Kenworthy. A feature of the entertainment was the dancing of the Whitley family (5).
