IMPORTATION OF DOGS.
PROHIBITION REMOVED. For some time, on account of an outbreak of rabies in the Old Country, an embargo was placed on the importation of dogs from the United Kingdom. The embargo has now been lifted, but the period of quarantine. has been lengthened. Formerly the period was six months, and if, was deemed to include the time taken on' the voyage out. It will now be six months jn addition to the time of tinevoyage. • - , *
