Fierce engagements between Free State troops and rebels occurred at Caftan and Thomastown, in County Kilkenny, where rebels attacked and captured the Free State garrisons. Telegraph wires to Kilkenny have been cut. ANOTHER TRAIN WRECKED. DUBLIN-BELFAST MAIL. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Jan. 10. Another Irish train outrage is reported. A party of armed men held up the Dub-lin-Belfast mail train at Mount Pleasant. The party forced the- passengers to get out of the carriages, and then sent the train at full speed in the direction of Dundalk. The. train was brought' up by catch-points.
