AGREEMENT IN THE WEST.
REDUCED WAGES ACCEPTED.

The Labour Department announces that coalminers aricj operators in Western Canada have signed an agreement whereby the miners accept a 15 per cent, reduction from the 1921 wage scale. Tho operators asked for a 20 per cent, reduction.
