STRIKE AT LE HARVE.
ALL PUBLIC SERVICES. CAVALRY SENT TO TOWN. A. and N.Z. PARIS, Aug. 25. A strike against .wage reductions by the engineers at Le Havre, who have won the sympathy of "the overwhelming majority of developed to-day into practically a general strike, tramwaymen, gas workers, and dockers downing tools. Two t squadrons of cavalry were sent to reinforce the local forces, but no clashes have so far occurred. ,-■•>.-;
The Mayor declares that the extension is due to imported Communist agitators.
