CLAY-PIGEON SHOOTING.

HAMILTON WINS CUP MATCH, [bx telegraph—own correspondent.] TE AROHA. Saturday. Considerable mtereet wag shown, in tha shooting contest this afternoon for th« C.A.C. Challenge Cup, won recently by T# Aroha irom Hamilton. To-day the match was a triangular one, teams from Hamilton and Waihi Gun Clubs having challenjed. Conditions were ideal for shooting. In No. 1 sweepstake (20 competitors), eight shot the possible, five birds, »nd they divided. They were Putan, T. Glenn, Whitford. E. King, Woolven, Pratt, Whittea, and Lloyd. No. 2 sweepstake ftttracted 23 entries, and eight shot the possible, seven birds. In the shoot-off King won, with second: In the quail drive, five birds, Woolven and Whitten divided, the next three being V. Hamilton, King and Lloyd. " The visitors were entertained by the Te Aroha Gun Club, when the challenge cup was handed over.
