CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday. Information to hand from Amcrica statu that the Canterbury trainer, F. Holmei who left here recently on a visit to the United States, hac effected the purchase of three trotting horses for transport to New Zealand, and that the animals have tsen shipped 1o the Dominion.
AUCKLAND TROTTING CLUB.. The annual genera! meeting of members of the Auckland Trotting Club is convened to be held to-day at 3 p.m.
