PROTEST FROM CANADA. NEW CATTLE DUTIES. 'A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON, Aug. 15. The Stock Growers' Protective Association of Western Canada has appealed to the fanners of the United States to oppose the proposed tariff duties on cattle. Over 30.000 lettei-s have been sent to American farmers, and copies are being sent to Congressmen. .
