SUN YAT SEN'S POLICY.
PEACEFUL UNIFICATION. A. and N.Z. SHANGHAI. Aug. 15. Dr. Sun Yat Sen has arrived here from Hongkong, and has conferred with the political leaders of the National Party and members of the Kuo Mh'n Tang clans, who favour the peacehd unification of China on a constitutional basis. Dr. Sun, in the course of a statement, said that when Parliament was functioning unfettered the constitutionalist aim would be Bccomplis'hed. He was prepared to abide by Parliament's decision. Dr. Sun declared that he asked for a passage from Canton in an American warship, but was refused. He was then taken in a British gunboat.
