OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION. [BX TELEGRAPH. —SPECIAL aEPOBXER-] WELLINGTON. Tuesday.. "The Kail way Department is "making an official investigation into the accident •which caused the derailment of the Main Trunk train near Drury. It is reported tbat fences along both sides of i!ie railway in that vicinity -were in good order, and therefore the most important phaseof the investigation will seek to elucidate •why at least six cattle were on the line . when, the express was due to pass.
