CRITICISM OF NURSES.

NO OFFICIAL COMPLAINT. Reference to criticism of the nursing id the Princess Mary Hospital was made afc the meeting of the Auckland Hospital! Board last evening by the chairman, Mf« W. Wallace, when presenting prizes to thtf nurses who beaded the annual examina- y tion. The matter was, he said, quite cnofficial, no complaint whatever having been made either to the board or to the , medical superintendent. The board was very proud of the nurses in the institution. '•' I do hot say yon are all angels," he added amid laughter, " for you are human like ourselves, but girls who give their lives in the causa of suffering humanity are doing something to be proud of."
