I NEW COUNCIL ELECTED. [BT TELEGEA.PJI. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OTOROHANGA. Friday. The election of the new Otorohanga County Courvil was held yesterday. F. Potts, Terauamoa Riding, H. A. Lurman and Jj B. C. Cooper, Mangarorongo Riding, were returned unopposed. For Honikiwi Riding, B. Budden, 64 votes, was successful against F. McLean, 40 votes. For Waipa Riding, W. Irvine, ICO votes, was successful against C. B. Hobson, 67, and J. R. Murdoch, 33 votes. For the Wharepapa Riding, J. B. Teasdale, junr,, 226 votes, and J. T. Young, 164 votes, were both successful against W. Thomson, 110 votes. The first meeting of the new council will be held on Monday.
