LINDRUM'S GREAT BREAK.
SCORE MADE OFF THE RED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, May 11. Lindrum's break of 1417 in the billiard match against Stevenson, is a world's record with bonzolino balls. \\ ith (Tie exception of two cannons, his score was made off tho red. Goorgo Gray mado 2.196, unfinished, in England off ciystallate balls, but that was not recognised. Interviewed, Lindrum explained that it was his first match against an English player, and ho was anxious to excel himself. Also friends had offered him a big sum to nothing if ho mado a thousand break.
