DRIED MILK PRODUCTION.
INCREASED MANUFACTURE.
TURNING TO OTHER AVENUES [bx telkqraph.—fhess association.]
PALMERSTON NOBTH. Tuesday.
At a recent meeting of directors of the Glaio Manufacturing Co. (N.Z.), Ltd., it was reported that tho manufacture of glaxo on this side of the world had this season already exceeded similar manufacture for the whole of the last dairying season. The powder manufactured to date was almost 25 per cent, more than was manufactured in the same period last season, which increased production represents about 1000 tons of glaxo. In the circumstances it was decided to cease the manufacture of glaxo and turn attention to other milk products for the present, and probably continue untO tho end of the present dairying season.
