AUCKLAND POWER BOARD.
THE FIRST NOMINATION.
MR. J. PARK OF ONEHUNGA. The first nomination of a candidate for election to the Auckland Hydro-electric Power Board was received by the returning officer yesterday. The candidate is Mr. John Park, Mayor of Onc-hunga, The Manukau County Council yesterday decided to nominate Mr. S. W. House aa a candidate for election to the board. Mr. House and Mr. F. M. Waters were appointed to represent the council at the conference cf local bodies to be held tomorrow to discuss the question of represeßfcuion on the board.
