An inquest was held to-day concert)' I ing the death of Eugene Doherty, aged! i 20 years, who died as the result of injuries received by being knocked down, when cycling home, by a motor-car driven by Norman MacFarlane Fa^ton. The jury returned the following verdict:—"Doherty met his death by being run over by a motor-car on July 9. Tha 6aid motor-car was driven by Norman Fulton, who, we consider, was under tha influence of liquor at the time of the incident." Fulton was subsequently charged with manslaughter, and a remand was granted; until August 4. Bail was allowed.
