BOXING.
DWYER DEFEATS O'NEILL. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] NAPIER. Sunday. Two professional boxing contests were decided last evening. Hughie Dwyer, Australia; defeated Frank O'Neill, New Zealand lightweight -champion, and Paul Hannah, Hastings, defeated Em. Baxter, Australia During; in-fighting O'Neill was observed to be hitting low, and in the tenth round was warned by the referee. In the eleventh round, during a clinch, O'Neill apparently gift in a nasty blow below the belt, and the referee immediately stopped the fight and awarded" the match to Dwyer on a foul. The other match went the full ten rounds and the decision in Hannah's favour was popular
