CONCLUSION OF CONFERENCE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Thursday The conference of technical school directors and managers concluded to-day. The conference reaffirmed the desirability of a system of day-time continuation education for trades' apprentices. It stressed the necessity for provision for the issue of teachers' certificates to men and women from commerce and industry who had taken rap or intended to take up technical school teaching. It was agreed that the department be urged to make a short course of home keeping, home nursing and the care and treatment of infants, for'girls attending special classes-.
