A DIPLOMATIC DILEMMA.
RECOGNITION IN SUSPENSE. A. and N.Z. WASHINGTON. Feb. 1. It is stated that before the State Department is able to recognise the new Greek Government the United States wants to know exactly the status of Constantine. American recognition at the present time would 'be extremely embarrassing to the Allies, as there is a credit in the United States of 33,000,000 dollars, upon which Greece could draw if the Government were recognised.
