The Motor Company's coach which runs from Napier to Wairoa, went over a tmik at the top of the hill on- the WaihariMohaka section of the road, near Willow Flat, yesterday afternoon. The coach was seriously damaged, and the horses were injured, but the driver escaped injury. There were no passengers at the time of the accident. One of the horses became restive, and kicked over the trace, and disturbed the others. The whole oratfit-' then rolled over the bark down aJ steep slope. The bridge has since been repaired, and traffic has now been re sumed. These incidents, combined with the washing ashore of the coastal steamer Te Aroha, have caused a' great impression among Wairoa residents, who all realise the need for pushing on the Waikokopu Harbour works and the East Coast railway.
