ACCIDENTS IN AUCKLAND.
THREE CASES YESTERDAY.
Three accident cases were admitted to the Auckland Hospital yesterday. A waterside worker, Mr. John Patrick Keefe, a married man, residing in the Great South Road, Green Lane,, sustained severe injuries to his head and face through the fall of a basket which he was handling on a collier in port. A youth named Russell Harrison, of Vincent Avenue, Remuera, was thrown from a horse against a stone wall while riding at Elkrslie yesterday morning He sustained concussion of the "brain, and" now lies in a semi-conscious condition. A baby, twenty-two months old, was admitted to the hospital yesterday 'affor noon suffering from the effects of drinkine caustic soda. The child is the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Rowe, of Rennall Street Ponsonby. Her condition is said to be not serious.
