THAMES SCHOOLS CLOSED.
PRECAUTION BY DEPARTMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH..— CORRESPONDENT.] THAMES, Thursday. All the public schools have been closed in this district until May 10, by order of the Health Department, to guard against the danger of influenza spreading. So far, although there have been a few mild cases here, there have been none of a serious nature and no anxiety is felt.
