AUCKLAND NOTIFICATIONS.

TOTAL OF 112 CASES.

ONLY. ONE OF SEVERE TYPB. The cases of influenza notified by the Auckland health officer during the' twenty - four hours ended at noon yesterday numbered 112, including one severe case from Tauranga. The following was the distribution of the mild cases: Auckland City, 45 ; suburbs, 30; country districts, 18; Hamilton, 5; Rotorua, 3; Te Puke, 5; Tauranga, 5. The bi-weekly report shows that during the period from noon Monday to noon yesterday, 429 mild and 12 severe cases were notified. The severe cases were d:stributed as follows:—City, 8; suburbs, 2; Morrinsville, 1; Tauranga, 1. The mild cases were as follows —City. 148 ; suburbs, 108; country districts, 54; Huntly, 51; Hamilton, 10; Matamata, 3; Te Kuiti, 3 ; Te Archa, 22; Morrinsville, 1; Tatuairui, 1; Rotorua, 7, Thames, 6; Tau' ranga, 5; Te Puke, 9; Taumarunui, 1. Three cases of pneumonia were reported from the city, and two from the suburbs.
