STATEMENT BY THE INSPECTOR. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Thursday.

The health inspector states that nothing has come under his notice so far to account for the closing of schools in the Waikato. A certain amount of mild influenza is prevalent, but very few cases are of a serious type. They "are for the mo6t part only feverish- colds, which before the epidemic had not been reported.
