AUCKLAND LAND BOARD.
The Auckland Land Board, at its last meeting, over which the Commissioner, Mr. H. M. Skeet, presided, approved two applications for the fee simple. One application was refused, and one was recommended -to the Minister for Lands for approval. Four transfers or sub-leases were approved, and four were recommended to' the Minister for approval. Five applications for land were approved and two were recommended for approval. A number of returned soldiers' applications were also dealt with.
