BUSSNESS DONE YESTERDAY.

The tono of the Bharomarfcct was again good yesterday. In banks, Nationals were looked for at £'i Bs, sellers asking i 6 lis. For New Zoalai ds (fully paid) £18 Ha was offered, no sellers Quoting. In insurances, Nationals had inquiry at 80s 6d and..Stan--dards at 6d New Zealacds at Sis w?re looked for at 3Ds. A sale was resorted in South British at £8 2s 6d, buyers closing at 28 Is, and sellers at £S 3d. In shipping, Hnddart-Parkers we-o firm, selling at 44s 3d. Northerns were done at 16a 6d. in P. and O. (deferred stock) business was reported at £500, at which price there were buyers Is;'*, no sellers quoting. In miscellaneous lines Auckland Tramways sold at 22s 4d and Wilsons Cements at 16s Id. while business was reported in N.Z. Refrigerating at "303. la mining lines recent rates ruled.
