TRANSPORT OF TROOPS.
UTILISING WARSHIPS. PLAN URGED Otf ADMIRALTY Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Bocd. 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 17. In reply to a contention of the Admiralty that it is impracticable to Utilise warships to convey troops to the Dominions it is pointed out that America is utilising warships successfully for the same purpose, a preDreadnought carrying 1200 men.
