TANKS DREADED BY ENEMY
FLOODING OF VALLEYS. United Service. LONDON, Sept. 26.
Mr. J. H. Thomas, Minister for Labour, said to-day that owing to the dread of the tanks water was playing an increasingly largo part in the German defencos. Engineers were busy flooding the canals and river valleys of the Souchez and Senee, south of Douai.
