PARIS BELIEVES ADVANCE GREATER THAN ANNOUNCED.
HUGE CAPTURES OF GERMAN GUNS ANTICIPATED.
NEW ATTACK SOUTH OF MONTDIDIER PROGRESSING.
Australian and N.Z. ' (Received 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 10. It is believed in Paris that the allied advance is greater than announced, and that half the total guns behind the German front have been captured. The new French attack between Montdidier and Lassigny advanced four miles, capturing 2000 troops. Von Hutier'a plight is serious. The French have captured 8000 prisoners ' and 200 additional guns.
