DEATH AFTER OPERATION.
SEQUEL TO A FALL.
[by telegraph.— conßEsro\DE.vr.] THAMES. Sunday. As inquest was held yesterday on the body of a married woman named Mary Ann Glasgow, of Kaihere, who died on Thursday after an operation. The evidence showed that the deceased had received an injury from a fall over a bicycle a fortnight ago, and that she became seriously ill on Wednesday morning, and was attended to during the day by Mrs. Wallace. a neighbour The deceased becoming worse, Mr. Wallace telephoned that night to Thames for Dr. Derrick, who proceeded to Kaihere on Friday morning, and performed the operation, which he found to be necessary. At the completion of the operation the patient collapsed and died. A* verdict wag given in accordance with the medical testimony.
