3 5 — ♦ WAIHI WARDEN'S COURT. , [BY TELEGBAPH.— CORRESPONDENT.] [ WAIHI, Wednesday. , A sitting of the Warder's Court was held i yesterday. An application by the Waihi ; B* fs Gigantic Consolidation, Ltd. for reduc- ' tim of rent and modification of labour conditions in respect to wight special quartz 1 claims, was granted. The Waihi Extended Gold Mining Company, Ltd. applied for reduction of rent in respect to special quartz claims. It was consented to by the Minister for Mines, and granted. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Waiotahi: Small stringers of Quartz have been driven through in the prospecting drive east, and -what appears to be a large Quartz formation has been touched. Sylvia Reefs: The reef in the drive north of the main crosscut is still hard. The quartz is well mineralised and shows a slight improvement in values. - Four-in-Hand: The south face at No. 2 ' level has been extended a further 7ft. and the reef taken down. The average width of the reef is 15in, and at this point it looks promis- ' ing, an excellent class of country being pene- >'* trated. An intermediate lovel has been started south from the rise. •- ' • ## |
